Being with the right people at the right time
It's a Sunday afternoon here in London just now, and I am enjoying a relaxing afternoon at my apartment in Paddington.
A sudden flash of insight just passed through my mind- reminding me of how much empathy and emotional intelligence people around me have. Often I have worked alongside or walked along with people at office, in public transportation and at coffee houses, who have an amazing ability to sense and picture the current state of my vibration- happy, angry, thoughtful or stressed. Such people are mind-readers or whatever. They tend to just 'catch' the keywords of brainwaves-like the mentalist from Ireland does. And they have an amazing ability to weave those imprinted thoughts into their conversation and carry on with the topic seamlessly.
This to me appears to be a gifted virtue-one makes you socially better connected and aware. You could spot a noble man in a crowd or prevent a crime from happening by reading the next of of a pick pocket or robber...amazing, isn't it?
And then I recollected all my past associations- with family, friends, colleagues and casual encounters. I was shocked to find the as I grew older, mature and wiser, I was inviting more and better socially evolved humans around me into my direct life experience. This appears quite logical as I have always longed to be a better person, and the universe has been responding to my desire at appropriate pace. I am really thankful for the social connections I have made over the last two decade since my teen age.
